It’s almost here!  The American Baptist Churches of the Great Rivers Region is excited to be launching a new website.  We are so excited about its “state of the art” features.  This will be a very fluid website giving you frequent updates on information and opportunities.  It will be the place where you can apply for scholarships or update pastoral contact information.  It will be the place where you can register for upcoming events including The Rivers Growth Conference, ReSource, and The Great Rivers Holy Land tour. Log in often to be up to date on all things GRR.

Over the past few months, I have been reminding all of The Rivers Growth Conference which will be held in Springfield, October 27-29.  There will be opportunities for pastors to learn about clergy health and revitalization.  Representatives will teach pastors how to prepare their profiles, Region Staff will lead churches through the steps of calling a pastor.  IM staff will teach leaders how to organize a mission trip. The ABC Historical Society will share how to preserve church records and even more importantly, what really needs to be kept. Global Servants will be here sharing what God is doing in their midst.  GRR churches will share what God is doing in their midst.  And so much more!  You will be blessed with the worship team from Antioch Baptist and I can’t tell what an amazing job and treat it will be hearing Rev. Dr. Kirk Byron Jones as our keynote speaker.  God is calling all of us to share, lead, and teach the Gospel for such a time as this!  Mark your calendars now!
