Men’s Week: June 2-5, 2025
Family Workday June 5, 2025
We are asking the Great River Region Churches to help support our American Baptist University, Judson University. The Baptist Men have been doing work projects for many years at Judson. The relationship and the commitment to each other continues to flourish. Please consider coming and helping the Baptist men June 2-5 or bring your family on June 5. There is something for everyone. There are a variety of projects that need no experience and there are specific needs of tradespeople or expertise in those trades (see below). Besides helping Judson complete some important projects, there will be fellowship, comradery, and an opportunity to learn about the University.
Judson University was established by The American Baptist in 1963. This American Baptist University provides a great Christian education for students from 43 states and 28 countries. This is our chance to support Judson and help facilitate building and construction needs that they have.
Needs for the Work Week June 2-5
Exterior Work
1. Electricians (1-2 people)
2. Carpenter, rough carpentry and forming concrete, (1-3 people)
3. Concrete placement, (placement/ finishing 1-3 people)
4. Landscape (general landscaping/ no limit of people or expertise)
5. General Workers, no expertise needed, just a willing heart and great attitude
Interior Work
1. Drywall installation (some minor carpentry work, drywall installation and repair/ no limit of people)
2. Drywall mud and taping 1-3 people)
3. Painting (general painting/ no limit of people)
4. General Workers, no expertise needed, just a willing heart and great attitude
If you are a tradesperson or have expertise in a trade listed above, please consider coming a day/ two/ or all 4 days. It would be a great opportunity to bring your son for the first 3 days or your family for Family Day, June 5.
Consider committing to come to support and help Judson complete much needed projects. Pastors, bring a group of 1 to 20. Housing and food provided by Judson University.
