The American Baptist Men’s Disaster Relief Team held a work week at Blackhawk Baptist Camp in June and completed over 33 projects, including the removal of several dangerous trees, clearing hiking trails and underbrush. Projects included such things as a new floor for The Peterson Lodge, new trailer door, rebuilding picnic tables, power washing campfire benches and several electrical projects. There were 14 men and youth who had a great time of fellowship, food and fun. The group is led by Van Peters. Plans are underway for 2026, so save the dates June 1-4 in your calendar to come to Blackhawk Baptist Camp. See you next year!
